No Cost To You – Additional Funding NDIS

Plan management is a disability service available to all NDIS participants with additional funding on top of existing, reasonable and necessary funding.

Disability Intermediaries Australia (DIA)

hdL are members of Disability Intermediaries Australia (DIA), the peak Australian professional body for plan management and support coordinator service organisations.

Our Services

Introduction to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and how disability supports are categorised by the NDIS.

Guidance with your NDIS plan and budget and alignment with the NDIS disability supports framework.

Invoice processing, documentation and record keeping, creation of a secure audit trail to fulfil any NDIA audit.

Conformance assessment of invoices against your NDIS plan and budget and the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Limits.

Your preferred level of involvement with your support providers - choice and control on invoice visibility and conforming invoice approvals.

Prompt NDIA payment requests of all conforming invoices and proactive trouble-shooting with all non-conforming invoices.

Support with the identification of additional, prospective and alternate NDIS support providers as required.

Service agreement that clearly outlines the roles, responsibilities, preferences and options available to both parties.

Monthly reports, commentary and alerts with colour-coded budget updates, spend-rates, forecast end-of-plan balances and summary charts.

Clarify your invoice visibility and approval preferences.

Review, negotiate and approve service agreement.

Engage your NDIS therapy support (registered and unregistered) providers.

Participate in payment process in accordance with your preferences.

Periodically assist hdL with trouble–shooting and invoice clarification.

Review monthly reports, ask questions if required.

Our NDIS Journey

Our family’s NDIS journey was commenced with the diagnosis of our oldest child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and was underpinned by a commitment to learn as much as possible about ASD and the supports available to help our child realise their full potential and become the best possible version of themselves.

As the Self-Managed nominee for a NDIS participant, we received continuous positive feedback from NDIA staff and the numerous allied health professionals we had engaged. Their feedback was consistent acknowledging our:

  • comprehensive understanding of the NDIS;
  • advocacy for our child; and
  • impressive financial and organisation skills.

As a result, we were inspired and encouraged to establish our own NDIS Plan Management Business and hdL Bookkeeping and NDIS Plan Management was realised.

Our individual professional backgrounds in bookkeeping and business management consulting provided a strong foundation for us to share our first-hand NDIS learnings and experiences with the families of other NDIS participants.
